Milulu grass

Iringa lampshade | Natural open weave M

This beautiful lampshade is hand-woven from Milulu grass and designed for pendant lights. It combines timeless design with traditional craftsmanship from the village of Iringa in Tanzania. The woven lampshade gently diffuses light and each lampshade comes with a brass mounting ring.

The color of the milulu grass changes over time. When the item is first woven, the grass has a green hue. Over time, the color changes from green to a natural light brown. This process usually takes 1-2 months.

These lampshades are made according to the World Fair Trade Organization's fair trade practices to support women through flexible, safe work and to offer additional income for families and communities.

Height: 46 cm
Width: 48 cm
Top hole: 4.5 cm

Each lampshade comes with a brass mounting ring. Please note that the cord and lamp are not included.

Each Mifuko product bears the name of its maker.
