Wooden soup spoon | Natural

Our CEO is in love with this soup spoon. She has been using it ever since we got the final sample. Our soup spoons have been carved out of a fallen jacaranda tree branches in collaboration with MADE51 workshop. Kapya Kitungwa is a refugee from Kongo and established his workshop in Nairobi to provide work for other refugees living in Kenya. Every item is handmade.

Don't wash wooden soup spoon in the dishwasher. Wash with warm water and rinse with cold water. You can treat wooden kitchen utensils with poppy or flaxseed oil every now and then.

Each Mifuko product carries the name of its maker.

Radically sustainable

Mifuko baskets weave together timeless Nordic design and traditional African handcraft. Each unique item is a work of hands and hearts, beautiful yet durable. As a beautiful detail each of our bags is signed by the artisan who made it. We want their stories spread to all homes.

We are a certified member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Fair Trade certification ensures that products have been produced following WFTO's principles and putting people and nature first in everything we do.
