Vaatimaton varpunen on Mifuko Trustin tunnuslintu Tumaini rinnalla. Pieni ja helposti huomaamatta jäävä lintu muistuttaa meitä arjen pienistä asioista. Varpuskoristeen myynnistä saatu tuotto menee suoraan Mifuko Trustille, joka tekee työtä maaseutuyhteisöjen elämänlaadun parantamiseksi Kaakkois-Keniassa. Laadukas koriste on veistetty käsin jakarandapuusta ja maalattu käsin.

Koriste on suunniteltu Suomessa ja veistetty käsityönä Keniassa osana WFTO:n varmentamaa Fair Trade -toimintamalliamme. Jokainen käsin veistetty koriste on tekijänsä signeeraama.
