Mifuko is a women-founded company that works with African artisans, the majority of whom are women. Mifuko is a WFTO Guaranteed Fair Trade Organisation, and the artisans earn income through their skills while working in local self-help groups, where they participate in decision-making and the leadership of their groups.
We celebrate women’s craftsmanship, skills and achievements and continue our work to make their work and stories visible in international markets.

All Mifuko products are made by hand using traditional techniques. Our products are designed to serve their purpose for a long time. They are carefully crafted and produced with great attention to quality. Each product is unique and carries the name of its maker.
