The 2024 assessment covers Mifuko’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, where applicable, and provides a baseline for tracking changes in emissions. The global nature of Mifuko’s operations is reflected in its carbon footprint. In the 2024 emissions profile, the largest sources of emissions were logistics, particularly transport from Kenya to Finland, and the materials used. Through carbon footprint accounting, Mifuko identifies its key sources of emissions and plans concrete measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
