The black and white weave and brown top edge give the basket a timeless look. The high-quality basket combines plastic and FSC-certified paper cord, with handles made of vegetable-tanned leather.
The basket is designed in Finland and handwoven in Kenya as part of our Fair Trade business model, which is verified by WFTO. Each handwoven basket is signed by its maker.

Mifuko Kiondo baskets are folded for transport to save space. You can shape the basket by spraying it lightly with water and then shaping it by hand. See the care instructions for more information.
