A classic shoulder bag for everyday use and errands. This beautiful bag has room for your everyday essentials and also fits a 14-inch laptop. The high-quality bag combines soft banana fibre and FSC-certified paper cord, and the black handles are made from vegetable-tanned leather. The banana fibre comes from the leaves and stems of the banana plant.
The bag is designed in Finland and handwoven in Kenya as part of our WFTO-verified Fair Trade business model. Each handwoven bag is signed by its maker.

Mifuko Kiondo baskets are folded for transport to save space. You can shape the basket by spraying it lightly with water and then shaping it by hand. See the care instructions for more information.
