A large floor basket that brings warmth to the room. This striking basket is ideal for storing laundry, blankets, large toys or firewood, and the leather handles make it easy to move. The high-quality basket combines wool, sisal and FSC-certified paper cord. The wool is leftover material from rug production, and the beautiful handles are made from vegetable-tanned leather.
The basket is designed in Finland and handwoven in Kenya as part of our WFTO-verified Fair Trade business model. Each handwoven basket is signed by its maker.

Mifuko Kiondo baskets are folded for transport to save space. You can shape the basket by spraying it lightly with water and then shaping it by hand. See the care instructions for more information.
